It’s the last day of the year! This year has gone by so fast it is almost scary. I hope the year was good to you. And if it wasn’t, I hope you made the best of it.
It has been fun blogging and “meeting” new friends through the blog. I appreciate your comments and the insights you have shared with me. (I just hope more of you who drop by will leave comments.) Thank you for the joy you've brought me and a great big thank you for the prayers you've said in my behalf. I know that is why I have healed so well and that Grizelda will soon be gone. I love you all!
My wish is that all of you will have a very happy New Year celebration and that the 365 days following your celebration will be full of peace, love, and joy.
God bless you all!
Thanks, Sherrie! Hope you have a great 2010 also. Happy New Year to you too. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your Wish to have a Happy New Year! We wish you a happy, healthy, and glorious new year!
ReplyDeleteFor us, 2009 was full of challenging trials as well, but we did make the best of any of the situations. I learned to have patience and forgiveness, especially for my husband in starting not just one business venture, but two.
This past year on March 2nd marked our 25th Wedding Anniversary, which started out with being excited in making plans for us to celebrate. It ended up being frustrating, uneventful, and unromantic, so I shed a few tears--NO, I sobbed! Because of this, I had to forgive my husband totally after he apologized for messing up my plans later that evening. It was hard to forgive, but I realized that I had to, and the next day would be a new day.
Right in the midst of building out a new Wellness Clinic in Draper, my husband's oldest son, killed himself. It was a shock, but at the same time, it was not surprising with all that he had to deal with, and couldn't.
Then, we had the joy and satisfaction of one son graduating from Parker Chiropractic College this month.
It has been, and still continues to be a GRAND LIFE being associated with as many grandchildren as we have living around us. We celebrate birthdays and very special holidays with them.
May all of you make this a great year, and work on your one character trait for the new year 2010!
Love,
Christy
Sherrie, Happy New Year to you and may 2010 be a year of health, happiness and a time for you to reflect on all you have gone through, and all you have accomplished. In spite of the difficult things you've dealt with, I have over and over again marveled at your ability to carry on and keep your wits about you with a life-threatening disease hanging over you. You deserve every rich blessing there is, especially a more peaceful, normal year. After all, there is so much to celebrate, dear friend!!

ReplyDeleteCathie, Thank you. You are always so encouraging. But I'm not the only one with health challenges. You've inspired many people yourself, including me. Keep up the great work you do! xoxo
