Something to Ponder

Nephi's brothers tied him up on a ship that was being ravaged

by a terrific storm. Talk about a bad experience.

He could have been deep in the Pit of Illusion

with feelings of hatred, anger, spite, vengeance, etc.

Instead Nephi chooses to live in Truth;

"Nevertheless, I did look unto my God,

and I did praise him all the day long;

and I did not murmur against the Lord

because of mine afflictions" (1 Nephi 18:16).
